After a decade, Andy was ready to slow down and focus on part-time handyman work. The business continued to grow, and I expanded with a small team of talented workers. In 2004, my wife’s career brought us to Maryland. I passed the business to my right-hand man and started over once again. It was a bigger challenge than I expected, but partnering with a local tradesman helped rebuild momentum, and soon we were thriving again.

In 2008, my son Alex graduated from a local trade school and entered the field. While our relationship was strong, we knew we needed time to develop our professional rhythm, so he joined another company. Within a few years he worked his way up to lead carpenter, running his own crew—an accomplishment that made us immensely proud.

By 2013, we knew it was time to join forces, and FourGen Remodeling was born—named in honor of the generations before us and the generations to come.

Now, in 2025, we begin our next chapter. Alex has taken ownership of the company and leads our operations with the same dedication, integrity, and craftsmanship that have been passed down through our family for decades. I remain involved in the office, writing estimates and tackling the occasional handyman job—but it is Alex’s vision that will carry FourGen Remodeling into the future.

What began with a small two-room house in Poland has grown into a multigenerational tradition rooted in quality, trust, and pride in our craft. As we move forward, one thing will never change: our commitment to providing exceptional work at a fair price for every family we serve.
