After searching for our first home for almost a year and passing on plenty of move-in ready homes, we somehow ended up purchasing a fixer-upper in a foreclosure. We needed a new everything, and with Courtney 3 months pregnant, we needed it quickly. The next several months were filled with the typical contractor nightmare stories you always hear about. We went through about 4 months of constant frustration and fired 2 incompetent contractors along the way. After speaking with a friend about our nightmare situation, he friend recommended we call Koty and Alex at FourGen Remodeling. It was the best decision we ever made. Alex and Koty were like a breath of fresh air. You would be surprised at the difference the little things make like actually showing up when you say you are going to, prepping the work area for the day, and cleaning up after themselves before they left. They are true professionals. They were able to pick up the pieces of our disaster remodel and complete the project in a matter of weeks. FourGen is the only contractor we will ever use, our kitchen looks amazing and we plan on having them fix up the basement soon!

We had our plans already drawn up when FourGen gave us an estimate. There was a lot of wall movement and rearranging that would be taking place in the kitchen. From the drawings and looking at our kitchen Koty was able to tell us what to expect, he gave us a work schedule that covered the complete project. We thought we were just going to replace our cabinets in the kitchen, but we told Koty we were open to ideas. We ended up taking out walls, installing a larger window, doing hardwood floors and transforming the whole house not just the kitchen. I had no concept of the possibilities. Koty was great at the design as well as getting us to see his plan. We love the transformation it looks like a magazine.
